Dr. Teshome Lemma is a distinguished leader and strategist with over three decades of experience spanning executive management, public sector leadership, and academic research. Having served at the highest levels of the Ethiopian government, including as the State Minister of Education in charge of TVET, Dr. Teshome has a proven track record of shaping national policy, driving institutional development, and leading complex organizational reforms. His diverse career includes senior roles such as General Director of the Higher Education Strategy Center and CEO of the Ethiopian Chemical Industry Corporation, reflecting a unique ability to bridge the gap between high-level governance and practical operational excellence.
Beyond his executive achievements, Dr. Teshome is an accomplished scholar holding a PhD in Global Digital Innovation from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). His expertise is grounded in a deep understanding of digital transformation, knowledge management, and educational planning, supported by advanced technical skills in statistical modeling and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Freelance Consultant, he continues to leverage his extensive background in strategic planning and institutional capacity building to mentor future leaders and deliver impactful solutions for regional and international development projects. Dr. Teshome is currently serving as a member of Selam Children’s Village Executive board.
